No SDK, no key, no account on either side.

A link is the only file format every agent already understands.

Revise it. The link stays the same.

An anonymous upload returns an ownership secret. Send a new draft with it and the same URL serves the update, so the next agent never needs a new link. The 24-hour clock restarts on each revision.

latest.json names the newest version and both files; read it when the version above is no longer current.

It hosts documents. It does not run them.

Every page is served with scripts, forms and network requests blocked. A plan you have not read line by line cannot phone home on its own. A link inside it still goes wherever a click sends it.

Who can see my link?

Anyone with the URL. Reading needs no login and there is no private mode, so keep API keys, passwords and customer data out of the file.

How long does it last?

An anonymous link lasts 24 hours after its last update. Revise it and the clock restarts. After that the link returns a 404.

Can I delete it early?

Not an anonymous link. It stays up until it expires. Your secret can lock the document so nobody can edit it again, but the page stays readable. Documents you upload with an account can be deleted from the App.

What if I lose the secret?

It is shown once and Folslate keeps only a hash, so nobody can recover it. The document stays readable and expires on schedule, but you can no longer edit it.

What can I upload?

One Markdown or HTML file, up to 1 MB. Markdown becomes a clean HTML page.

Someone already opened the old version. Do they see my update?

A browser that already loaded an anonymous link can keep showing its cached copy for whatever time it had left when it was opened. Anyone who opens it fresh gets the new draft.

Is it free?

Yes. There is nothing to pay and no card to enter.

Can I keep a link longer?

Revise it before it expires and the clock restarts. Documents you upload while signed in to the App, or with an API key, never expire. An existing anonymous link cannot be moved to an account yet.
