Use of the service

Folslate lets you upload a Markdown or HTML file and receive a public link on fol.ink. The link and its bytes are kept for 24 hours; an authorized update with your ownership secret restarts that window. There is no account, no dashboard, and no way to delete a document early — revoking the secret disables document management, not the link.

Documents are public to anyone with the link. Do not upload anything you need to keep private after you share the link.

Availability

Documents are kept for 24 hours. Folslate does not promise that a link stays reachable for the full window — storage, the network, or a deployment can interrupt it. The 24-hour figure is how long we keep bytes, not a guarantee of uptime. No warranty.

What you may not upload

Do not upload anything illegal, anything you do not have the right to share, or anything that infringes another person's rights. Do not use Folslate to harass, impersonate, or distribute malicious content.

Removal

The operator may remove any document at any time, for any reason, without notice. If you believe a document violates these terms, report it at /abuse or write to abuse@folslate.com. Reports are reviewed by a person.

No warranty

Folslate is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. The operator is not liable for any loss arising from use of the service, hosted documents, or links that stop resolving.
